“Expand Your Designs with Techniques”

a Hands – On Workshop/Open House

Don’t miss this chance to learn, network and share experience with industry peers! This event is open to all industry members. The hands-on workshop is available to the first 20 people who register. Cost to participate in the workshop is $50 for GLFA members and $80 for non-members. Everyone is welcome to watch the workshop. A light meal will be provided for all attendees 

In this hands-on workshop you’ll learn how to create profitable designs using different techniques with the same combination of flowers. Techniques shown in this class will include, armature, grouping, hand tying, pave, and framing. You will create an armature design that you will get to take home. 

 /technique/ Techniques are used to create a floral design composition; they are the skill sets required to complete an artistic work.

6:00 – 6:30 (workshop check in, networking, shopping)

6:30 – 7:30 (workshop, shopping)

7:30 – 8:00 (networking, shopping, wrap up)

COST: $50.00 member $80.00 non-member (All attendees are welcome to watch the workshop)

About the Instructor: Jerome Raska AAF, AIFD, CF, CFD, PFCI has been in the floral industry for over 30 years, Jerome shares his experiences as a Teleflora Education Specialist with florists, garden clubs, and suppliers across the country. He is the past president of the Great Lakes Floral Association and has served the floral industry in many different capacities through SAF and AIFD
