Dear Horticultural Teachers and Students,
The mission of Great Lakes Floral Association (GLFA) is to provide educational opportunities for floral industry members. With the contribution of various wholesale companies, growers, the Michigan Floral Foundation (MFF), and individuals, grants and scholarships are made available to aspiring individuals who meet the application requirements.
This year GLFA is happy to announce a new scholarship being offered only to horticultural teachers and students hoping to improve their floral design skills and industry knowledge!
There are fifty $100 scholarships available from CalFlowers to be applied towards your 2020 Great Lakes Floral & Event Expo registrations. This is an exciting new opportunity for teachers and students this year! There’s no guarantee these scholarships will be offered in the future so apply now!
Please be sure to share this information with those teachers and students desiring to further their education in the floral industry. The scholarship application deadline is February 28, 2020, or until all 50 scholarships have been awarded, so your immediate attention is needed! Each teacher and student need to return a completed application with the 2020 GLFEE registration.
