DESCRIPTION:Keeping you at the forefront of the floral industry with Professional Development! \n\n\n\nGLFA Education Center Presents\n\n\n\nAdvanced Floral Design\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWHEN: August 18 – 21\, 2024 (Sunday – Wednesday) 9am to 5pmWHERE: GLFA Professional Education Center – 1152 Haslett Rd.\, Haslett\, MI 48840INSTRUCTORS: Jerome Raska AAF\, AIFD\, CF\, PFCI\, Helen Miller AIFD\, CF\, PFCI\, Doug Bates AIFD\, CF and Cindy Ching AIFD\, CF. \n\n\n\nThis four-day advanced floral design class\, taught by expert guest designers\, covers a wide range of topics\, including wedding bouquets\, event arrangements\, caskets\, memorials\, spiral hand-ties\, body flowers\, leaf techniques\, flower lei making\, and more. The class also provides tips and tricks for staying ahead in the floral industry\, includes hands-on design\, and provides all materials. Students will take home completed designs each day.  \n\n\n\nGuest Designers: \n\n\n\n\nHelen Miller AIFD\, CF\, PFCI\n\n\n\nJerome Raska AAF\, AIFD\, CF\, PFCI\n\n\n\nDoug Bates AIFD\, CF\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe limited course enrollment of 6 will ensure that each student receives personal attention. \n\n\n\nThe class will meet from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day with a 45-minute break for lunch on your own.  There is 29 hours of classroom instruction time. Since this is a personal enrichment course there will be no exams.  You must bring your own tools\, floral knife\, pruner\, scissor\, wire cutter\, and needle nose pliers. \n\n\n\nCOST:     $2000 member    $2500 non-member (Includes all flowers/supplies) \n\n\n\nClass enrollment limited to 6.
