DESCRIPTION:Keeping you at the forefront of the floral industry with Professional Development! \n\n\n\nGLFA Education Center Presents\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n“Expand Your Designs with Techniques”\n\n\n\na Hands – On Workshop/Open House\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDon’t miss this chance to learn\, network and share experience with industry peers! This event is open to all industry members. The hands-on workshop is available to the first 20 people who register. Cost to participate in the workshop is $50 for GLFA members and $80 for non-members. Everyone is welcome to watch the workshop. A light meal will be provided for all attendees  \n\n\n\nIn this hands-on workshop you’ll learn how to create profitable designs using different techniques with the same combination of flowers. Lisa has spent the last 16 years working at Ludema’s Floral and Garden as a lead designer on the Special Events Team. She was the 2018 Great Lakes Floral Association Designer of the Year and Chuck Bannow award recipient. She is the owner of Beautiful Blooms by Jen which she founded 15 years ago. Tips on how to prepare for both the written and design portions of the test. Students will spend part of the day reviewing the written test and then work in the design room learning what is needed to pass the exam.
